Katy Tur

 Katherine Bear Tur (born October 26th in 1983) is an American author and journalist on the air who is a correspondent for NBC News. Tur anchors MSNBC Reports. From 2021, she has hosted Katy Tur Reports. She has also reported on the NBC news channels Early Today and Today, NBC Nightly News and Meet the Press on WNBC-TV, MSNBC and The Weather Channel.



 



 Early life



 Tur is the daughter and granddaughter of journalist Zoey Tur, and Marika Gerrard. She attended Brentwood School (2001) and University of California Santa Barbara (2005), with an undergraduate degree in philosophy. She is of Jewish descent.
